Ozer Encounters lets you meet players near you. Here are the rules, tools and commitments that protect everyone, in the game and in real life.
Adults 18+ only
Date of birth is checked. Without a confirmed age, there’s no access to encounters.
Moderated photos
Every photo is checked automatically before other players can see it.
No contact details
Phone numbers, emails and social media are rejected in profiles: everything starts in Ozer.
Report, block
On every profile. A block is permanent and the other player is not notified.
Anti-spam
20 invitations per day at most, for each player.
You stay in control
Pause or delete your profile at any time.
Rules of the game
A charter accepted by every player
The players’ charter
- I am 18 or older.
- I respect everyone’s consent, in the game and in real life.
- I don’t use Ozer to sell or solicit anything.
- I report any inappropriate behavior.
Not allowed on Ozer Encounters
- Contact details in the profile: phone, email, social media
- Any commercial solicitation or request for money
- Nudity and sexually explicit content
- Photos of children or of someone else
- Harassment, hate or discrimination
- Fake profiles and impersonation
Depending on its seriousness, a breach may lead to a photo being rejected, the profile being hidden or suspended, or even the account being deleted.
Moderation
What we check
Photos, before they appear
Every photo is analysed automatically before it appears. A rejected photo is not displayed: just pick another one.
Reports
Every report is reviewed by the Ozer team. After reports, a profile can be hidden by moderation during the review.
Profiles
Descriptions containing contact details are rejected, and invitations are capped at 20 per day to limit spam.
Report and block
One action, from every profile
A profile or behaviour makes you uncomfortable? Report it from their profile: our team reviews it. You can block the person at the same time.
Blocking is permanent: you’ll never see each other again and can no longer invite each other. The other player is not notified.

Your data
What is shared — and what never is
Your player profile is separate from your Ozer profile. You see exactly what will be visible before you publish.
Visible to players
- Your photo, checked before it appears
- Your username and age
- Your description
- Your favorite games and icebreaker
- Your city and a rounded distance
Never shared
- Your first name and your Ozer profile — your first name is only revealed when a session opens
- Your partners and your other sessions
- Your exact location
📍 An approximate location
Ozer uses your GPS position rounded to about 1 km, or simply the city you enter. Other players see your city and a rounded distance; your exact location never leaves your phone.
You stay in control
Pause, delete: at any time

You disappear from discovery; your ongoing sessions carry on as usual.
Delete your player profile
Your profile, your photo and your pending invitations are erased. Sessions already opened remain.
Delete your account
Deleting your Ozer account also deletes your player profile.
Our tips
Play with confidence
- Stay in Ozer until you feel confident.
- Never send money or banking details.
- For a first date, pick a public place and let someone close to you know.
- Something feels off? Report it from the profile.
In immediate danger, call your local emergency number (112 in Europe, 911 in the US).
